Not me (yet), my 96 850 with, wait for it, 225K miles. Helped me talk through how to manage the failed smog test, what I need to consider, etc. Very helpful and knowledgeable. And of course did the regular service which has kept the car going like the Energizer bunny.

A heater hose on my 96 Volvo broke during afternoon rush hour last week. I was able to limp the car to Model Garage. They fixed it, tuned it and replaced other inadequate hoses by early the next day. It runs great and I have the security of knowing it has been carefully checked for problems. I feel so lucky to have such a mechanic nearby. Paul

as a long time customer, i miss the personal connection we had with Peter. the new guy answering phone (maybe the new partner??) is a little gruff and disconnected. He should make friends with the old timers :) excellent service, otherwise, as usual.

As always, Don and company treated me with courtesy, knowledge, skill, patience, humor, and genuine warmth. They are willing to drop what they're doing to perform a quick fix, and they stand by their service. I hope they can keep my Volvo going for another 240,000 miles!

I have been a customer at the Model Garage since the early days. After years of owning Volvo's, I now own a Prius. We sold our old Volvo wagon and bought our sons a used Toyota Avalon. I would only buy a brand that could be serviced at the Model Garage! Recently, my son needed to drive to southern California to visit some colleges. At the last minute, we were able to move up our appointment for a service, and the car was ready before noon, so he could get on the road before it got too late. I know my son is in good hands when he takes the car in; he is treated like a member of the family. The kind of service you receive at the Model Garage is hard to come by these days!
