i've gone to model garage for 20 years, with my 1987 Volvo 240. Robert and his team have consistently been superb problem solvers, terrific diagnosticians, great communicators, and all at a very fair price. They explain the problem and don't treat you like an idiot if you are not savvy about mechanical things. And they anticipate problems so you know what needs to be addressed now and what can wait. Most recently, I ran into downed trees during a torrential storm. The car was damaged quite badly. Robert and his team took on the project with their usual careful attention to the car (and to me. I am very attached to the car.) There was a question as to whether the car was even salvageable. Step by step they checked it out, figured out what it needed, kept me informed and performed the repairs in record time and at an amazingly low price, given the extent of the damage. All along they were kind and generous. I would give them ten stars if I could. There is no better place, for regular maintenance or extensive repairs.

Good service, very friendly and courteous. Brought my car in for Oil Change & Tire Rotation. I felt like my vehicle was well taken care of. Good attention to detail, my tires were inflated to spec and were spot-on. Would definitely consider coming back for larger jobs, should my car need them in the future.

Faced with a leaky Subaru head gasket, I called a few shops and Robert was the only one to take the time to speak with me in some detail. I have worked on my own cars since owning my first oily bag of bolts when I was 16, and I kinda know what to listen for when talking to mechanics. I just didn't have the time for this repair, so I farmed it to the Model Garage. It was a pleasure to work with Robert, and you have to do is look around the clean and organized shop which speaks for itself. Highly recommend.
