seems to have been great!( My first visit) break job was done in one day with only a days notice/ and lots of little,things were done, that I did not expect/ Topped off coolant/fixed tail lite bulb/ started work on window that was often stuck open, by disengageing button( thank you) Drop off at rental car at 515 pm was above call, so overall really good. I have been taking my car to the Model Garage for at least 7 years, and I have always had nothing but great experiences with them-- they did the best possible work with my cranky car until the very end. I highly recommend them in every way!

This is a great place with real decent people owning and working there. Although I no longer live in Berkeley and it is somewhat inconvenient for me to get there I still bring my car to the Model Garage.

These guys (and gal) always do a great job keeping my 20 year old Volvo on the road. They provide down-to-earth recommendations of items that will need attention, which helps me budget for future repair needs. They are always there to answer questions and put things into perspective. Prices are fair and discussed clearly in advance. No high pressure sales here. Very service oriented with a personal touch. Just a great place to get your car repaired.

I've taken my Toyota and Volvo to the Model Garage for years and was very happy to learn they have begun servicing Lexus as well - now I can take all my vehicles! As always, the team at the Model Garage was helpful and professional when servicing our car. We'll gladly continue relying on their expertise in maintaining our vehicles.
